After pitching up here yesterday in such a fab spot overlooking the lake we decided to extend our stay for another day.

We start with a jog around the campsite and along the canal in the 28°C heat and it’s only 10am. It’s run one of week 2 couch to 5k and hot and sweaty work.

A bit of laundry next followed by croissants for brunch. Reading and blogging and the occasional cold beer keeps us occupied in the shade hiding from temps now in the thirties. We get a visit from a pair of swans and their two very cute cygnets. Dad is very protective hissing like mad if we get too close.

Another BBQ for dinner and then a visit to the campsite bar to be well entertained by some very French Karaoke.

A lovely lazy sunny day.
