Les Sables Blanc, near Plouharnel Brittany

Our final day here and it’s sunny again. We have a late start and enjoy brunch outside in the shade.

Lots of reading until just after 2:30pm when we rouse ourselves to walk down to the beach to see it at high tide. It’s looks lovely and enticing and the beach isn’t too busy so we decide to return to our van and get ready for a couple of hours on the sand.

It’s hot but not burning and a chance for first use of a throw we bought in Marguerite Crete back in 2019. Does the job wonderfully.

T gets into the water for a swim. It’s cold but lovely once you’re in he tells me. A couple of hours lying in the sun and the beach is a lot busier. We would have stayed longer but I admit I’m missing an umbrella and a beach chair.

Back to Luci for a bit of blogging then showers before we wander down to the bar on-site. I have turkey in a creamy sauce and Tony has kebab. Both taste good.

A quiz sitting outside and then into the van for more of Reacher and then bed. I’m glad we made the effort and spent some time on the beach. A lovely end to our r&r stop.
