Bolton-le-Sands and home

More rain overnight and on and off most of the morning. T cooked a very unhealthy breakfast which Nala enjoyed a share of.

Reading and blogging eventually followed by Rummikub. I won two games to one!

Once the rain passed we went for a walk to the coast, crossing the marsh area first. We ended walking in a circle for a bit, meeting the fissures in the land made by the tide.

I somehow managed to tweak my back so left Nala and Tony to it. They walked to the beach.

Early evening we wander out for a visit to the Canal Turn pub. This is left out of the site along the tow path towards Carnforth rather than right to Bolton-le-sands. It’s a beautiful evening now with blue skies and sunshine. Nala enjoys chasing the odd pigeon and crow.

It’s dog friendly and has a conservatory overlooking the canal. We eat, enjoy a couple of drinks and then walk back.

Always sniffing…

A good final day of our grandog holiday with lovely Nala.

Bed then home.
