We were woken up by cows making lots of noise this morning. A rural alarm clock. We found out later that the bull had got into a field with the wrong group of heffers. Much noise from farm workers and moving cows ensued until it was sorted. Phew!
We are leaving Llanwrtyd Wells today. The site was OK but a bit basic for us but we liked the town and area. What with its Bog snorkeling championship and Man vs Horse marathon and of course the long association with the Monster Raving Loony Party, it’s got plenty of personality.
We are driving further south to Sarnau Llandysul near the coast today. Arrive early afternoon at Brynawelon campsite, which is very well appointed and has fabulous hot showers. Rain follows us so we have a quiet evening in the van, delicious Cajun Dirty Rice for dinner and some TV.
