After thunder, lightning and a torrential rain storm overnight, we head off to Calais in time we think for the 11:15 ferry. We arrive and after checking emails realise we are booked on the 12:45! Luckily they are happy to let us on the 10:45 instead.. so result!

The Dartford crossing is slow going but otherwise all good. Looking forward to a lovely meal out tonight with Paula, Mark and Matt.

Heading home tomorrow and hoping to be in time for a late Sunday lunch with Rach and Paul and The Ojuederies.

This has been a wonderful month and a bit away. We’ve loved it all but especially The Netherlands.
