Berwick Upon Tweed

Next stop is a quick visit to Berwick-upon-Tweed. After a bit of circulating we eventually find somewhere to park the van. Wander along the river admiring the three bridges. Not too impressed with the town itself though but enjoy walking a bit of the ramparts.

Find the campsite and our pitch which is fantastic overlooking the estuary and the sea. After mivvying and some amazing home-made soup we eventually wander into town. We are on the Spital side of the river and enjoy a bracing half hour walk along the promenade one way then back along the beach. Bit of a pub crawl and then back to the van for ding meals.
