Onto Portugal

We leave the weird and quirky El Rocio and drive to a campsite in Tavira, a 15 min walk away from the Ria Formosa, a lagoon in the Algarve in southern Portugal. The campsite is only 40mins from Faro airport.

Its a campsite  with small pitches but luckily they have reserved 2 for us so we can park sideways with a little manouvering. Tony enjoys the footie watching from outside the van in the sunshine and I enjoy a kindle moment.

In the evening we walk into Tavira and wander along the river front before enjoying a lovely fishy meal in a local restaurant. Tony makes short work of a bowl of baby clams and I enjoy a tasty plate of golden bream.

Sunday morning we pack up and head to the airport to pick up  Rach and Paul looking forward to our villa for 2 weeks including not having to make up  our bed up every night!!
