Leaving Vivonne with fond memories we drive north to Camping Le Pont Remain in Yvré-l’Évêque which is just north east of Le Mans. If it hadn’t been 42 degrees we might have taken the bus into the city. Or even wandered into the town to see the Roman bridge. But it’s just too hot.

Instead we have something to eat outside the van then wander along to the swimming pool to cool down. That’s all most people were doing and it was lovely if a little warm.

That’s it really. We BBQ eventually and then enjoy a few quizzes. Motorhomes unless they have aircon are definitely not made for 40+ degrees and the fridge is similarly challenged.
