Back to couch to 5k this morning to finish off week 3. Very slow today but managed it. Followed by a fry up for balance.

Late afternoon we decided to walk into the next town La Puebla de Labarca. Set off listening to thunder and seeing rain in the distance but hoped it was moving away. Passed some large bodegas along the way. Walked for about 10/15 minutes and I was concerned it still looked very far away and up a hill. Google says it was 5 mins away in a car, 14mins on a bike and 3hrs 39m walking! A totally different walking route. We can only think the bridge across the river is closed to pedestrians. Checked in Apple Maps and it said 57mins and required ‘a climb’. A mystery that we’ll never solve.

Anyway we turned around and walked back just in time miss the rain which was heading in our direction.
