An easier departure from Exmoor than our arrival as the road through Winsford is open again. We drive south, mainly on narrow and winding roads to our next stop which is a camping and caravan site in Stoke Fleming not far from Dartmouth.

We stop at a very busy Sainsbury’s on the outskirts of Dartmouth for a restock of the fridge and fresh bread and then manage to overshoot the campsite. We realise straight away and T thankfully finds a good spot on the narrow road to turn us around.

A late lunch in the sunshine sitting outside followed by some time to do nothing before getting ready to walk to the local pub The Green Dragon half a mile down the road.

After a couple of drinks we walk back and enjoy a ding meal sitting outside, me with a blanket of course. We manage a trivia quiz before heading inside to watch a bit of telly, series two of Wednesday. Get to almost the end of episode one before nodding off.
