It’s a grey and rainy one today. On and off all day. We hide in the van until late afternoon and then wander into Killarney. The track opposite our campsite is a part of the Kerry Way, a signposted walking trail over 200km long.

On the way into Killarney a Jaunting Car passes us by and we also see part of the wild red deer herd over the wall of the national park.

Our first stop is at Killarney brewery and pub. I try the lager and T the IPA and both are delicious.

We then wander around a few good pubs after eating Thai food. Lots of traditional Irish pubs and music so it’s a fun evening. Taxi home to avoid the rain …. and the walk home
