Hertford, Norfolk and then Home

We are off to Hertford today. It’s a long drive but we are trying to to get more than halfway towards Norfolk where we are staying for the weekend. It’s the last leg of our adventure. We have a final weekend in a cottage in Snettisham to look forward to before driving home.

Drive is uneventful and we arrive mid afternoon. It’s damp but not raining. We decide to walk into Hertford. Luckily there’s a footpath so we are off road for most of it.

After a wander around we go to The Woolpack for a drink. Next stop is Ellies kitchen, a Thai restaurant where the food is lovely and tasty.

A final couple of drinks in the Old Barge and The Practioner before a taxi home.

Enjoy a lovely weekend in a quaint but over stuffed cottage in Snettisham including a fab walk along the coast to Wells-next-the-Sea.

Monday morning we drive back home. Four hours later we are enjoying a cuppa and trying not to think about emptying and cleaning the van. Until next time, which due to lock down may be 2021!
