After lots of Gam & Gaga time with our beautiful newest grandson Marley and his amazing big brother Elijah, we are off in our motorhome again for an autumn getaway.

The destination is the Isle of Wight this time and our first stop is Southampton. It’s a Sunday drive down south to a pub stop called The Forest Home in Hardley, about 10 miles outside the city and thirty minutes drive to the port. We we can park for free.

Very easy journey today with zero holdups. It’s a beautiful day too.

We treat ourselves to a roast in the pub followed by a bit of TV and then an early night.

A steady start to our trip.
