Cudillero & Salinas, Asturias, Northern Spain

A quiet one for me today. I’ve decided to stay put in the campsite whilst Tony, Mark and Jacky visit Salinas. They catch the train. It’s an upmarket seaside town in pristine condition only lightly developed with a magnificent bay made for surfing. A beer is enjoyed overlooking the waves before catching a bus back.

In the afternoon I decide to do run 2 of week 3 of couch to 5k on my own. I miss my coach and packhorse to carry the phone, water and keys but managed it.

In the evening we treat ourselves to a meal in a posh restaurant just up the road. The starters were fabulous, the mains ok and the ice cream delicious, a good way to end a lovely week with Mark and Jacky.

A delicious day.
