Lazy start today and then early afternoon we take the shuttle bus up the mountain. It’s not walkable as it’s a long narrow steep road with no pavements. It’s single track right at the top.
Great views from the viewing platform. Sheep poo everywhere as they roam the mountain freely.

T claims further up to check out a loftier view.

I enjoy my kindle, the views and the sheep.

In the bay below we see a ship. T has his binoculars and discovers it’s the National Geographic Explorer. Hopefully seeing more wildlife than us.

Weather improves as we’re up there, with blue skies appearing in front of us

Back at the van it’s showers first and then we get ready to go to the Rusty Mackerel for dinner. The skies are blue now and it’s a lovely evening.

It’s quite busy in the pub itself and in the restaurant.

We decide as we’re so close to the sea we have to have fish again. I choose the daily market special Hake and Tony gets Monkfish and Prawns. We eat half each and they are both delicious but the monkfish is the winner. Follow it with a Creme brulé to share which is yum.

We move into the bar to watch England play badly again but get chatting to a Dublin couple Barbara and Norman, about motorhomes, retirement, travel, music, children and football and enjoy that a lot more. Live music from a duo also keeps us entertained.

A fun end to our evening.
Another good day.
