First rain of the trip today. Gets heavier as the morning progresses but we are warm and cosy in the van. A naughty Full English for breakfast.
We leave Glenarm around midday and drive to the next village Carnlough. Braving the rain we walk down to the harbour from the coach park and then pop into the local Spar for milk and bread. The harbour steps were used by Aria in Game of thrones as the Bravos Canal.

Onto Glenariff Forest Park alongside the coast road passing houses that look they are built on the edge of the sea. We wonder how they cope in a storm but they must as they look in well looked after.

Back inland up into the forest to our campsite. It’s looks newish and modern.

It rains all afternoon so we watch TV and read. The rain stops at dusk for a bit so I go outside to take a couple of photos and wish I hadn’t. The whole place is swarming with midges. Hop back into the van bringing a few in with me. They are visible through the windows for a while and then they disappear.

A quiet evening in watching the end of series one of Marcella and a couple of movies.
